| WMS Gaming Surpasses 5,000 Games Ordered By California

WMS
Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS),
announced today that it has received an order representing its 5,000th
game
sold in Fiscal 2001 to Native American casinos in the State of California.
Earlier this year, WMS announced that it had surpassed
its goal of 4,000
units sold for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001. Additionally WMS
currently has over 500 participation games, each generating recurring
revenues, either installed or on backlog in California.
