    The River City Group has announced plans for the premier industry event in
the world of interactive gambling.  The “Global Interactive Gaming Summit
and Expo” will be held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
from June 5 – 7, 2001. 

    As the world’s largest gathering of online gambling executives, suppliers,
and regulators, the Summit will build on the previous successful events from
the past two years with advanced seminars chaired by industry leaders and
experts, and an exposition that will feature the latest wares of over 40
vendors to the industry.  This includes companies that offer gaming
software, e-commerce providers, content providers, gambling information
sites, internet services, publications, auditing firms and others which
serve the industry.

    The cutting-edge seminar track includes a look at the overall industry,
marketing issues, payment solutions, technical delivery systems, legal
concerns, and responsible gaming.  Special geographic presentations will
offer insight on how the industry is progressing in Australasia, Africa,
Europe as well as North America.  A separate half-day pre-Summit workshop
will include a “how to” primer for those interested in entering the
business. The program features a special focus on progress toward
international regulatory cooperation.

    The event includes a variety of networking opportunities for the over 700
international gaming industry leaders, executives, media buyers, and
operators expected to attend as delegates.
