During the Slot Manager Institute Press Breakfast, The Gaming Manufacturers Association highlights its past accomplishments and goals for 2001.
 

What: 
GAMMA is an international trade association representing gaming manufacturers, suppliers, and operators. We facilitate the identification, definition, development, promotion, and implementation of open standards to enable innovation, education, and communication for the benefit of the entire industry.

Why:  
This is an opportunity for the gaming press to learn first hand about the association that is creating the gaming standards of the immediate future.  Hear what has been accomplished to this point in the field of open standards and our expectations for implementation of standard protocol in 2001.   Learn about the demonstration of GAMMA standards in booth #1256 at World Gaming Congress & Expo 2000 (WGC). Discover why GAMMA standards will assist regulators and change the industry, and how our Strategic Plan for 2001 will bring this about.

Who:  
The Gaming Manufacturers Association’s membership includes gaming manufacturers, suppliers, and casino operators.  The press briefing will be conducted by Peter DeRaedt, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Bruce Rowe, Chairman of the Operators Advisory Council.
